Emma-Rose Allen has been dancing from the age of five and was interested in the art of choreography from an early age. Her creative eye was born in the Nordhoff High School Dance Program, where performance classes as well as a Choreography Honors ROP class pushed her to always try new things. It was there that she created and co-created a number of dances, including Votes For Women, a piece about the suffragette movement that would later be invited to perform at the Pasadena Dance Festival. She now works for Ojai Youth Entertainers Studio as the musical theater choreographer, as well as Ojai Unified School District, working as a dance teacher for elementary and middle school children. In October 2018, she produced her first full-length contemporary based show and is currently working on another one. Emma-Rose is attending Moorpark College with the goal of transferring and receiving her BFA in dance, and aims to receive her master’s degree in Choreography.
